Jon joined the pastoral team at BEFC in 2019 as the Lead Pastor. He is married to Amie, and they have two adult children and one still at home. Jon and Amie first met while both attending Briercrest College and Seminary. He received both his B.A. in Christian Ministry and Master of Divinity in Pastoral studies from Briercrest. Jon has served in a variety of ministry roles from a solo pastor in rural Saskatchewan, to missionary in Kenya, and as a Family and Children’s Pastor in Calgary, AB. Jon is passionate about preaching Jesus through all the Scripture. As far as hobbies, he loves playing golf and volleyball, watching his favorite hockey team (Edmonton Oilers), listening to podcasts, and sharing a good cup of coffee with his wife.
